Advanto and Aktion: Earned wage access integrated with the time-and-attendance system

If your company uses the Aktion time-tracking system, you already have data on hours worked. By integrating with Advanto, you can also use this data for the “ Earned wage access ” benefit—without having to manually re-enter attendance data and without adding to HR’s daily administrative workload.

With “Pay Anytime,” employees can access a portion of the wages they’ve already earned even before the regular payday. When calculating the available amount, Advanto can use the hours worked data from Aktion.

This integration makes particular sense in manufacturing, logistics, retail, and other companies that operate on a shift schedule, where the actual number of hours worked varies throughout the month.

How does the integration between Advanto and Aktion work?

Aktion tracks employees' working hours and hours worked. This data can serve as one of the inputs for Advanto when calculating the amount currently available to an employee.

The employee can then view their available balance in the Advanto mobile or web app and decide for themselves whether they want to transfer a portion of their earned wages to their account.

This is neither a loan nor credit. The employee is using a portion of the money he has already earned, and he does not incur any new debt.

What Does Connectivity Mean for HR?

The biggest benefit for HR is that Earned wage access does not involve a new manual process. Attendance data does not need to be manually entered into another system, and neither the HR nor the payroll team has to calculate individually for each employee how much money they can access before payday.

Advanto processes the necessary data while adhering to the rules set by the employer. For example, a company can specify a maximum amount or percentage of wages available for withdrawal and tailor these settings to different groups of employees or its own internal policies.

The employee then handles the entire process independently within the application.

Practical Experience

For example, at the Adler Pelzer Group, more than one-third of employees have registered with Výplata at some point, and over the course of more than two and a half years, employees have made over 15,500 withdrawals.

At Dr. Max, too, employees across the company—in pharmacies, warehouses, and offices—use the service. Since the service was introduced, there have been no more occasional individual requests for salary advances.

Do you use Aktion and are you considering "Pay Anytime"?

Every company has its own attendance policies, payroll systems, and internal rules. The specific configuration of the integration between Advanto and the Aktion attendance system is therefore tailored to each employer's environment.
