Advanto, the Czech startup behind the Earned Wage Access employee benefit, is a year older again. And even though it's only 3 years old, it's growing at an extraordinary pace. With every passing day, it becomes more accessible to more employees and companies.
Thanks to Advanto, employees can access their money immediately after a shift, without having to wait for the regular payday. It's a modern and useful benefit that has been popular with both employers and their workers since its founding, because it has a positive impact on their finances and overall satisfaction. One of the main advantages is the ability to cover unexpected expenses without waiting for payday.
Over the past year, Advanto has become a very popular benefit across various industries. The number of companies using the Advanto benefit has increased more than 5x since last year. These include, for example, NOTINO, HOPI, and ORLEN Unipetrol. Companies see the positive effects of employees being able to access their money immediately after working their hours, without having to wait for payday. The number of employees with access to Earned Wage Access is now nearly 50,000. During 2022, Advanto also expanded into Slovakia. Statistics show that, through Advanto, someone withdraws part of their wages every 5 minutes.

The fact that Earned Wage Access is becoming the standard is also confirmed by media interest in the topic. Advanto's founder and CEO, Martin Fortelný, took part in several interviews, for example with Forbes, CzechCrunch, and Radio Zet. We had the honor of taking part in several conferences and other significant events from the world of HR and employee benefits. One example is the HRko event, where we shared experience and know-how with other experts in the field.

We're also in touch with our users. We visited them several times during the year to gather feedback. To our pleasant surprise, many stories were shared about how Advanto helped people through financial hardship caused by unexpected expenses. And that's precisely the reason Advanto was created.
Thanks in part to user feedback, we can continuously improve our services. Since last year, we've expanded the number of available languages. The app is currently available in five languages, making Advanto accessible to even more workers.

The benefit can be integrated through dozens of payroll and attendance systems, which greatly simplifies rolling out the benefit for new clients. New types of integrations have also been developed, making communication with company servers much simpler.
Advanto isn't just developing on the technology side. Over the past year, the entire brand underwent a redesign led by the agency Inveo. As a result, the design of the mobile and web app has also changed. This was another step toward making the app more user-friendly.
“We try to make the app intuitive and easy to use, so that users have quick and easy access to the money they've already earned,” says Advanto's CTO, Jan Kölbl.
Advanto keeps growing, as a service, as an app, and as a team. We're looking forward to what the coming year will bring and how far we'll be able to go. Thank you to all our users, clients, and partners for your support, and we look forward to continuing to work together!
And what are we planning for next year? Stay tuned, there will be plenty!
